The three-night Fil-Am Fun Fest joins this week's Orange County events lineup |
Fil-Am Fun Fest is bringing three nights of Filipino American comedy, improv and live entertainment to Orange County from October 22 through 24.
Organizers have framed the gathering as a way to celebrate Filipino American culture while welcoming the wider community.

Thursday, October 22 — Night 1 in Anaheim
Opening night takes place at Radiant Beer Co., 1566 West Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show begins at 6:30 p.m.
The organizer promotes an opening-night lineup featuring comedians with credits that include Modern Family, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Last Comic Standing.

Night 2 moves to Scripted Bar & Kitchen inside MetroLux Theatres at 101 West Avenida Vista Hermosa in San Clemente.

The promoted lineup includes comedians with credits from Comics Unleashed and Comedy InvASIAN.
|
Saturday, October 24 — Open Mic and Finale in Placentia
Saturday begins with a Fil-Am Fun Fest Open Mic at Broken Timbers Brewing Company, 116 West Santa Fe Avenue in Placentia.
Signups begin at 3 p.m., and the open mic runs from 3:30 to 5 p.m. before the main show.
The session is hosted by @liugottabekiddingme and features Brown Velvet Improv as special guests.
The finale show follows at 6:30 p.m. with Filipino American stand-up and talent promoted with credits that include Last Comic Standing and Comics Unleashed.
Comedy, improv and Filipino American talent
The broader lineup includes Jay Aquino, Ay Nako, Brown Velvet Improv, PJ Butta, Erik Escobar and Joy Regullano, among others.
The mix of stand-up performers, improv groups and entertainers creates a varied program centered on Filipino American talent.
Admission and reservations
All three main shows are listed as free with no cover, although advance reservation availability differs by night.
As of October 21, the Anaheim and Placentia listings were sold out, while the San Clemente listing warned that sales would end soon.
Free parking is listed for each venue, and the Anaheim show is identified as an all-ages event.
Because reservation status can change quickly, visitors should check the official Fil-Am Fun Fest updates before traveling to a venue. |
